Fandom Party 2024 Review

The Fandom party at San Diego Comic-Con is one of the most anticipated nights of the year! This year Fandom’s 20th Anniversary event was sponsored by Dragon Age and Paramount+. The night begins at the Hard Rock hotel at their rooftop pool known as FLOAT.

Participants are provided passed hors d’oeuvres, a buffet of food, and an open bar! The San Diego Hard Rock hotel has a huge wraparound bar on the rooftop, which makes getting drinks super easy in addition to that they have pop-up stations around the dancefloor where the concert takes place. This is a great location for any Comic-Con event.

Every Fandom Party features a red carpet! This year the red carpet included a 360 booth, where celebrities and influencers were invited to take centerstage. If you want to see the red carpet, I recommend getting there early, a lot of the big names at Comic-Con hit the red carpet early so they can find a nice cozy spot to hang out for the rest of the evening.

The event had several onsite activities! There was pinball machines set up in the bar, there were performers on stilts, and an exclusive look at Loki's scepter from the Marvel movies! I was most impressed by Loki’s Scepter as I got to chat with the maker and owner from East Coast Continental gems said that the scepter contains a 20-carat Sapphire gem! This $500,000 item is currently for sale so be sure to follow them on Instagram if you have any interest! Wink, wink…

The headliner for the evening was Jason Derulo. This man put on one of the best performances I’ve ever seen in a private event! He honestly did not have to put on such a high level and high energy performance, but he did not hold back.

I highly recommend following @getfandom and joining their online platform. This is going to give you the best chance of attending a future event. The fandom party which celebrated their 20th year is only getting better and you’re not going to want to miss it!
