The VIV Hotel for an Anaheim Retreat
Located 5 minutes from Disneyland, the VIV Hotel offers a great location for a Anaheim retreat. The location keeps you close enough to the Disney resort that you can commute throughout your stay but far enough away that you are out of the hustle and bustle of the area. The hotel offers onsite dining, thoughtful design choices, and beautiful roof top amenities.
The VIV hotel is a gorgeous property. The hotel ceilings are high and rooms are equipped with bunkbeds and double sinks, making a family trip much easier! I appreciated their attention to decorating for the holidays! We were there just before October so there were lots of spooky, yet family friendly, decorations. I also enjoyed the Storm Troopers and the Disney Legos installation! Be sure to take a photo with both! The beautiful design and attention to detail helps make this property stand out.
With a gorgeous rooftop bar, restaurant, family pool, and rooftop adult pool; this is a lovely place for a getaway for everyone. The family pool was a great space it had several cabanas, a pool side bar, and a water splash pad for the littles! It was a very popular space and lots of families were making the most of the area. We were traveling with our teenagers so when the kids were watching movies in the hotel room, we made our way to the rooftop bar for a nightcap. The staff was extremely helpful and very welcoming, it was a nice way to end the evening.
We also had a meal on site. I especially enjoyed the breakfast at La Valencia’s. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, everyone in the family loved them! They also offered coffee, mimosas, and a great kids menu! It’s a good way to start out a day at the theme park.
The hotel felt a bit understaffed so bring your patience they are working hard to accommodate everyone. But, the location, design, and welcoming atmosphere makes this a great location for Orange County travel.
